Answer 27: Cookies are a useful and normal part of Web browsing, but not spyware. A form of spyware is parasiteware. If you have used MyPoints, or some coupon sites or similar websites, and afterwards you did not run a spyware cleaner, then there is a small possibility that your computer has parasiteware, and you may not get credit for some PaymentKey ad offer submissions. Click here for more information on parasiteware, and for a list of free and commercial anti-spyware programs.
Here are instructions for cleaning your computer. 1. Install a spyware cleaner or two. 2. Run it to clean your computer before clicking on any PaymentKey ad offers. 3. Now, disable your spyware cleaner while using PaymentKey. This is necessary since many spyware cleaners will block the required cookies from the PaymentKey ad offers. If you want, you can turn it back on after you are done completing the ad offers.
While using PaymentKey.com, it is safe to turn off your firewall and spyware cleaner. PaymentKey.com is safe, secure, a member of the Better Business Bureau (verify here), and has been PayPal Verified since Feb. 13, 2000 (verify here).
